APPOMATTOX — Patrick Murphy led four Chatham players in double-figure scoring but the Cavaliers fell 75-73 to Appomattox in a Dogwood District semifinal game Wednesday.
Murphy scored 19 points while Chris Harben added 16 for Chatham (15-9). Marcus Fuller and Solomon Witcher each scored 13.
Michael St. John paced Appomattox with a game-high 23 points.
