L.V. Ware leads Danville Braves to 2-1 victory

L.V. Ware singled twice, scored and knocked in the game-winning run in the fifth inning as the Danville Braves edged the Bristol White Sox 2-1 on Sunday night in Bristol.

Danville (26-13) took a 1-0 lead in the first inning before Bristol (15-21) tied the score in the second.

Mycal Jones also had a pair of hits for the D-Braves, which belted 10 hits in the contest.

Ty Stovall picked up the win, allowing one run on two hits in five innings. He struck out three but walked six.
