Rockingham County played three sharp games and recorded a sweep of Western Alamance, 25-15, 25-9 and 25-12 Thursday night in Triad 3-A Conference volleyball action.
The Lady Cougars improved to 4-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
Rockingham County got strong efforts from Jordan O’Bryant, who finished with 21 spikes, 12 kills, seven service points and three digs.
Denise Grissom added 17 service points, four aces, seven digs and 18 assists.
The Lady Cougars also got 10 service points from Sarah Sparks, five digs from Macey Wilson and six spikes and five kills from Erin Cox.
RCHS is back in action against defending conference champion Bartlett Yancey Tuesday night.
