Preservation Virginia to hold meeting on historic barns

Preservation Virginia will hold a meeting to introduce its project to preserve historic tobacco barns in Pittsylvania County.

The meeting for the Pittsylvania County Historic Barns Project will be held at 6 p.m. Feb. 29 at the Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex at 19783 U.S. 29 in Chatham.

The meeting will provide information on how the public can get involved in the project. Speakers will discuss the importance and benefits of protecting the region’s tobacco barns and other rural heritage resources.
