Halifax County Emergency Services says a phone outage is impacting more than 2,000 people in the Clover area, and those with the phone number prefix "454."
Verizon is aware of the problem, and working to fix the lines. It could take up to 24 hours to fix.
Halifax County is asking people who are impacted to call 911 with a cell phone if they have an emergency.
