On Monday, the Rockingham County grand jury brought back True Bills for Indictment on two brothers who were arrested in connection with two December homicides in Ruffin.

John Arbery Willis, 21, and Aaron Terrell Willis, 16, have been indicted for the homicide of Taylor Nicole Queen, 17, who was found dead at the scene of a vehicle fire off Stacey Road in Ruffin, according to a press release from the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office.

On December 12, Queen was found dead at the scene along with 18-year-old Jessica Marie Walker.

According to the release, Walker’s death has been ruled by the North Carolina Medical Examiner to be from a gunshot wound. Queen’s cause of death has not yet been released.

The sheriff’s office said John Walker was indicted by the grand jury for the first-degree murder of Queen and the first-degree murder of Walker and two counts of concealment of the death and disturbing of human remains.

Aaron was indicted by the grand jury for accessory after the fact in the murder of both Queen and Walker, according to the release.

The brothers remain in Rockingham County Jail awaiting trial.
