Five charged in connection with robbery at Eden pizzeria

Five suspects face charges stemming from a recent pizza restaurant robbery.

Employees at Tee’s Pizza, located at 115 N. Fieldcrest Road, reported three black males who displayed a firearm and left with an undisclosed amount of money at approximately 10:30 p.m. Jan. 23, according to police reports. 

The following individuals were all charged Tuesday with one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon:

-          Tavon Christopher Wilson, 16, of 712 Gordon St.

-          Devron Jacqua Dillard, 17, of 11161 N.C. Highway 87

-          William Bowman, 20, of 153 Henderson Road

-          Colon Vincent Golden, 17, of 712 Gordon St.

-          Antonio Maurice Lowe, 18, of 815 Bridge St.

Dillard and Lowe both received secured bonds of $500,000, Bowman received a secured bond of $300,000 and Golden is under a $750,000 secured bond. Wilson has not yet been served with this charge as investigators are still working to have this warrant served.

The suspects are due in court Feb. 15.

The Eden Police Department is still investigating the robbery. Anyone with information concerning the robberies at Tee’s Pizza, Super Mart, Shoe Show or Starlite Technology is asked to contact Det. Ronnie Markham or Sgt. Paul Moore at (336) 623-9755 or 623-9240. Rockingham County Crime Stoppers can also be contacted at (336) 349-9683. Callers may be eligible for a reward.
