To the editor: In reference to your editorial, "Supervisors have been warned" (Jan. 12, page A6), I have a different point of view. You wrote the county faces real problems that can be fixed and this isn’t one of them. I feel this is one of the biggest problems we as Christians face. If we had stood up long ago for the name of Jesus we wouldn’t be in the mess we are today. The Board of Supervisors has been told not to use the name of Jesus Christ in their prayers. They have been told a prayer is fine if you don’t mention Jesus Christ. How can we possibly deny the name of Jesus Christ and expect God to bless this country? Yes, the country, state and county have real problems, but just maybe if we put Jesus Christ first we might see answers for many of the problems we face. ANN ECKER Gretna
