Since the first of the year, the Danville Police Department has investigated a number of thefts and burglaries in and near the Beverstone neighborhood.
The reported incidents include: a burglary in the 100 block of Clarendon Circle on Jan. 8; an auto theft in the 400 block of West Main Street on Jan. 29; a burglary in the 200 block of Randolph Street on Feb. 24; a burglary in the 100 block of Primrose Court on March 5; an attempted burglary in the 100 block of Clarendon Circle on March 11; another attempted burglary in the 100 block of Clarendon Circle on March 12; and an auto theft in the 200 block of Randolph Street on March 12.
In the burglaries, jewelry, electronics and money were reported stolen.
Most of the incidents have occurred between 8 p.m. and midnight, according to a news release from the Danville Police Department.
Officials said they were reporting the locations to “serve as a message to the public to raise awareness to assist law enforcement in apprehending the individuals involved.”
