Danville Circuit Court Judge David Melesco found Kavion Desean Bennett guilty Wednesday on all counts relating to the April 12 shooting death of Ivory Law and wounding of Anthony Ferrell at White Rock Park.
Bennett was found guilty of first-degree murder, malicious wounding and two counts of the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Bennett's defense attorney, Joe Schenk, said he was "dissapointed with the outcome," but appreciated that Judge Melesco took time to carefully weigh all the evidence.
