RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) _ A coalition of conservative groups is headed to the Legislative Building to tell lawmakers they're disappointed with their work.
Former U.S. Sen. Bob Dole and Republican gubernatorial candidate Pat McCrory are scheduled to speak at a rally Wednesday to discuss state lawmakers' progress this year.
Conservative groups say they're frustrated by government corruption and high taxes.
They want lawmakers to create more charter schools and reform the state's annexation laws. The groups also want lawmakers to give the public the opportunity to vote on a proposed Constitutional amendment addressing gay marriage.
