Eden Man Still Missing

As of today, Darrell Wade Walker, 40, of Eden, has been missing for five days. Walker was last seen on Friday driving his gray 1991 Toyota truck bearing North Carolina tag number WVA-2572, the Eden Police Department reports. On Sunday, Shirley Walker reported her son as a missing person. Walker said she last saw her son at her home on Stadium Drive in Eden. Walker told police she is concerned about her son’s health because he is a diabetic and does not have his medication.
Detective Sgt. Clint Simpson is investigating the case. He has spoken with a woman who believes she saw Walker's truck and is in the process of verifying the woman's account. The Eden Police Department asks anyone with information on the location of Darrell Wade Walker to contact Simpson at 336-623-9240 or 336-623-9755.
