Rams to face SouthWest Edgecombe in quarterfinals

Following a 28-0 win over Northside-Jacksonville, SouthWest Edgecombe will host the Reidsville Rams in the quarterfinals of the 2-AA state football playoffs Friday night.
The No. 2-seeded Cougars are 13-0 on the season as is No. 3-seeded Reidsville.
SouthWest received the second seed in the 2-AA East playoffs following a pre-playoff draw. East Duplin was No. 1 and Reidsville No. 3.
Friday’s game will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Pinetops.
