VICTORIA — Chatham running back Brandon Walker rushed for 124 yards on 15 carries as Chatham fell to Central Lunenburg 17-0 Friday night in a non-district matchup.

Quarterback Cam McClellan completed five passes for 30 yards and added 20 yards on the ground as the Cavaliers’ (0-5) defense gave up its fewest points this season. Cedric White caught two passes for 12 yards and Brent Shelton added 11 yards on two catches.

It was Central Lunenburg’s first victory over Chatham in three attempts and was the Chargers’ first victory over a current Dogwood District team dating back to 2001.

Dominique Foreman led the way on defense, while Josh Witcher, Cole Morris, Joey Cline and Shelton contributed to the effort.
