RCHS captures volleyball tournament title; No. 1 seed upcoming

Following Rockingham County’s victory over Eastern Alamance in Wednesday night’s Mid-State 3-A Conference Tournament, the Lady Cougars will now be seeded No. 1 in the upcoming NCHSAA 3-A state playoffs.
Rockingham defeated Eastern Alamance, 3-1 - winning games 1, 2 and 4.
The Lady Cougars, who shared the regular season title with McMichael and Eastern Alamance, will host the first round of the 3-A playoffs.
The playoffs get under way on Saturday.
Pairings will be announced later this week here and on http://www.nchsaa.edu.
