Burlington downs Danville Post 325
BURLINGTON, N.C. — Bulington Post 63 edged Danville 6-4 on Thursday despite big games from Post 325’s Ethan Fowlkes and Zach Harrelson. Fowles went 2-for-2 with a solo homer and a double, while Harrelson knocked a two-run homer. Brian Widerman added a single and an RBI for Danville (13-5, 2-1 District 10).
Danivlle Post 325 was scheduled to play Burlington in Danville on Sunday, but that game has been replaced by a make-up game between Danville and Lynchburg Post 16 at 1 p.m. at Dan Daniel Park.

STUART — Patrick County ended Danville Post 325’s six-game winning streak with a 4-2 win on Thursday. Patrick County limited Danville to only four hits — a James Feldmann homer, a Christian Clifton double and singles by Alex Bailey and Andrew Cox.
Ryne Farmer had six strikeouts in the loss.
