A fastball over the middle of the plate turned into Blacksburg’s go-ahead run in its 4-3 Region IV quarterfinal victory over the Trojans on Tuesday.
Tunstall softball tops Cave Spring for first time, advances to Region IV semifinal
The Trojans advance to face Richlands, a 5-0 winner against Hidden Valley, in the regional semifinals at 5 p.m. Thursday in Salem, where a berth in the state tournament is on the line. Patrick County takes on Salem in the other semifinal.
