Averett Baseball Camp
Dates: June 22-25 and July 6-9 (Ages 8-12)..........$100
Camp information: The camp is held at Owen-Fulton Field on Averett’s North Campus. Campers should bring a water bottle, cleats, glove and baseball bat (if desired). Campers should also provide their own lunch. Camp runs from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. each day.
Director: Averett coach Ed Fulton, one of the most recognized baseball names in the area, has been at the helm of the Cougars for 13 seasons.

Averett Basketball Camp

Little Cougars Camp (Ages 4-7)..............June 15-19….......$75
Shooting and Position Camp*.................June 21-23….......$150

Boys Team Camp*.....................................July 17-18…........ $250 per team
Cougars Day Camp (Ages 8-17)..............July 20-24….......$150
*Denotes overnight housing available

Camp information: The camp is held at the Grant Center on Averett’s North Campus. Learn from our knowledgeable coaching staff and enjoy our state-of-the-art facilities. Campers range from beginners to advanced. Improve your basketball skills in a fun atmosphere. The Little Cougars Camp runs from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. The Day Camp runs from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
Directors: Coach Jimmy Allen has led the Averett men’s basketball team to four USA South Conference championships and three straight NCAA Tournament appearances, while Katrina Williams guided the women’s basketball team to a school record number of overall wins and conference wins in a season.

Averett Golf Camp
Dates: June 15-18 (Ages 8-18)..........$250
Camp information: Camp will be held at Goodyear Golf Club. The camp will run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day. Lunch will be provided.
Director: First-year Averett coach John Franklin, a well-known golfer in the area, will instruct the camp, which will focus on all facets of the game. Campers will work on everything from their short game to their tee shots. This camp will help you lower your scores.

Averett Soccer Camp

Directors: First-year Averett coaches Ed Goodhines and Carly Pearce and their assistants will provide a wealth of knowledge for any campers looking to improve their skills in a fun atmosphere.

Averett Softball Camp
Dates: June 15-19 (ages 8-14)....................$100
Camp information: The camp is held at the softball field on Averett’s North Campus from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. each day. Campers should bring a water bottle, cleats, glove and softball bat (if desired). All fundamental skills will be stressed, as well as position play and game strategies. All skill levels are welcome.
Director: Second-year Averett coach Stefanie Clayton guided her 2008 team to the USA South Conference semifinals.

Averett Tennis Camp
Dates: June 15-19 and June 22-26
Beginners/Intermediate…............8:30-9:15 a.m…......................$50
Advanced….....................................9:30-11 a.m….......................$100
Camp information: The camp is held at the tennis courts on Averett’s Main Campus. Campers should bring a tennis racket and a water bottle.
Director: Averett coach Bobby Shields is regarded in the Danville area as one of the top teachers of the game.

Averett Volleyball Camp
Dates:
Beginners camp (9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.)..........July 13-14….......$100
Camp is for those who are just starting to play or have played a year of middle school volleyball. These players are just learning the basics and need to learn the fundamentals of competitive volleyball. The camp includes lunch each day and a T-shirt.

Intermediate camp (9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.)..........July 15-16…......$100
Camp is for those who have played middle school volleyball and are progressing into junior varsity or varsity level of high school play. These players have a basic understanding of the rules and fundamentals but need more coaching and instruction. The camp includes lunch each day and a T-shirt.

Advanced camp (6-8:30 p.m.)..........July 13-16…......$100
Camp is for those who have strong fundamentals. Players can maintain the control of the ball and have a firm grasp of different offensive systems in volleyball. This session will be fast-paced and will be very advanced. The camp includes a T-shirt.
Camp information: The camp is held at the Grant Center on Averett’s North Campus. Three volleyball courts are available, allowing for more instruction. Male and female campers are welcome.
Director: Danny Miller, who has been named the state and conference coach of the year multiple times, is a proven teacher of the game. He has led his team to conference titles and several NCAA Tournament appearances.
