A high scoring first half turned into a defensive battle as William Campbell defeated host Chatham 34-32 in Dogwood District football action.

Dan River’s defense had kept William Campbell’s offense at bay for most of the night. It seemed only fitting that the Wildcats’ defense would seal the game in the final seconds for a 25-18 victory over the Generals on Friday night.
