Waiting to hear

The big news on Thursday (Feb. 19) was that five Republican governors were considering turning down money from the president’s stimulus bill, but they were grandstanding. Not one of them actually refused the money in President Obama’s bill.  Everyone knows that is political suicide, including the five governors.
    Still, a lot of us were waiting to hear the five Republican governors explain why their party is more important to them than education, health care, and the infrastructure in their states.
