A helping hand
As two friends and I were dining at the Sagebrush Restaurant one evening last week, a waitress informed me that another customer had discovered that I had a flat tire. The waitress quickly said she would change it for me, and we went immediately to my car where she removed the extra tire and began to change it.
Soon, another employee came out and said that he needed her to sing “Happy Birthday” to a customer, and that he would change the tire. I went back inside, and he then later came in to tell me what had caused the flat, and that I should not drive a long distance on the “doughnut” tire.
I was amazed at the kindness shown by these people, who refused any compensation for their work. This certainly speaks well for this establishment and for the staff employed there.
