Simply fed up with politics as usual

To the editor:

Well here goes, my wife and I voted last Tuesday for all the Republican candidates. Thank goodness we have a good group of people who actually know the reasons for America’s success, and what it will take to continue that success and to be the world leader in innovation and freedom.

This Obama administration in Washington, together with Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the other fellow travelers are trying to hide their true agenda. They have written into law things that on their face are, if not unconstitutional, clearly are not for the people or in the interest of America.

We are sick and tired of the “I know best” attitude of representatives and senators. We have seen the buying of votes with taxpayers’ money — my money.

We are ready to send them packing, and we hope that this election will send President Barack Obama and his minions a clear, unambiguous message. He has bought his way so far by promising something for nothing. His promises of no tax increases for 95 percent of America. What a life — live in the most wonderful country in the world, enjoy the labors of others and never contribute one dime. Work when you want, if you want. Draw unemployment extensions continuously. All you have to do is support me and vote for us.

He is a jerk with no management skills and a commander-in-chief who will not send back up to our troops because of politics while they are being killed.

His socialist agenda and ideas are to promise everyone a chicken in every pot … hey, you on the dole —wake up! It’s really your chicken, and you already know it’s your pot. Wait! Did I say I will tax your fire under the pot? No, the fire to cook it, will cost more than the chicken and pot.

The only redistribution I want is your retirement pay after only four years. We cannot take any more of you or your ideas.

Write your congressman, they will not get the letter for a week or more. Call them and an underling answers the phone; send an e-mail and get a canned answer, never a follow-up.

These canned answers and letters he puts in the papers are standard verbose words that every congressman writes, just reworded for today.

Here’s a line for Rep. Tom Perriello: Next year, I hope we give you a public option to go back to New York.

I think Bush did take the opportunity to get Saddam for his Daddy. He might not have lied but he left it out. That is deceit at best.

it looks like bush isn’t the only one with “faulty intelligence”...it’s not that hard to understand, but i guess for some of these bush supporters…here we go again.  george tenet, the head of the cia under “w” acknowledges that his “slam dunk” comment was turned around by bush/cheney.  it is now being used by b/c as their way to get out of the lies they told to the american people and the world that saddam had wmds.  joe wilson told them that saddam didn’t buy any yellowcake in niger.  etc., etc. etc.  now….bush wanted to “get the guy that wanted to kill my daddy”...they lied about wmd to get into the war….scheesh.  you bush supporters must not be able to read too well….can’t spell it out any better for you.  bush is already known as the worst president in the history of the united states….with the exception of the small minority that stick up for him….those with “faulty intelligence”!

Hahahahahahaha!!!

You kids are too much!  Sammy continues to fail, miserably so, to name one lie that Bush told.  She can’t do that because Bush didn’t lie.

JP takes up for Sammy because JP believes anything critical of Bush.  He even said yesterday that the Ft Hood shooting were Bush’s fault.  When someone comes up with something like that so off the wall, how can they be expected to be taken seriously in any of their postings?

Oh well, at least Barrack Hussein Obama is not my President.  It is up to Sammy and JP to support their boy, it’s up to them to justify our continuous war in Iraq and Afghanistan.  It is up to them to justify Obama’s 10.2% unemployment rate.  Remember that sitmulus package?  Obama promised that if Congress would just please oh pretty please approve that for him, then unemployment would not go above 8%.  Using the logic of Sammy and JP, we can say with 100% certainty that their boy lied to us.  Is that fair?

At least he’s not my President!!

I just hope that neither JP or Sammy have access to our public schools.  Should they be allowed to teach their values to America’s school children, well then it might be time to look for another country.  There would be nothing left to hope for.

once again - the bush administration took us to their war of choice saying there were weapons of mass destruction…there weren’t. they lied. the “faulty” intelligence did not show a “slam dunk” as tenet has said since he left the administration.  bush/cheney made it a “slam dunk” to fit their agenda of getting “the man that was going to get my daddy” (mg) they lied….bush made the war and will own it until it is over.  unfortunately, we can’t pull out of the quagmire that bush caused because of the chaos that would ensue…bush will go down in history as the worst president of the united states…with the exceptions of the fanatical bush supporters who will say it was jimmy carter (mg)

Rockit is right (far right) when he/she writes to samsacres: “This discussion is out of your league.“  He/She’s right because this is bush league and your writing and critical thinking is much stronger than that.

But, when he write< “How many times will you ignore the most simple of basic questions?“ it show how Bush league this is:  samsacreas has some excellent example of how Bush lied to us; he is too much of a dolt to read and understand.

‘Nuff said.  Peace.

Oh Sammy, give it up baby.  This discussion is out of your league.  How many times will you ignore the most simple of basic questions?  Name one lie that Bush told.  Just one.  And you can’t do it because it didn’t happen.  You know that.  I know that.  And now, at least in part due to your insistence that it’s true…because you say it’s true…everybody else on here knows you’re just a perpetual windbag blowing smoke.

Maybe a more civil way to approach this would be to concentrate on what we agree on.  As I’ve stated over and over in the past, the decision to go to war in Iraq was a bad decision.  As such, President Bush bears the responsibility for the consequences of that decision.  But this whole notion that the left wing likes to chant “Bush lied, people died” is so distracting from the real issue now which is how do we get out.

Personally, I would have preferred that Barrack Hussein Obama on Jan 21 issue an Executive Order withdrawing our forces from Iraq within 30 days.  He didn’t.  In fact he has continued the failed policies of his predecessor with respect to Iraq.  Accordingly, for better or for worse, it’s his war now and any casualties suffered, contrary to the ridiculous comments of JP, shall justifiably be his fault.

I mean come one, you can’t have it both ways.  You can’t consider Barrack Hussein Obama as your President only when he’s posing for a photograph.  If he’s going to be your President, you have to accept his shortcomings and failures right along with his rockstar image.  Doesn’t matter to me, he’s not my President.

First thing I got when I looked up “muslim” was a muslim dating site:  www.muslima.com??? What’s that got to do with why peace-loving muslim terrorists do what they do?? I know the psycho in Texas was upset about not finding his dream burka babe, but I truly feel his motivations for what he did came from a darker more evil place.

it’s amazing how president bush’s ardent supporters can give him a pass on his lies told to get us into the iraq war….i’d like to see them give him a pass in front of the war victims families.  poor bush had “faulty (lies) intelligence…what was he to do?  poor bush…it wasn’t his fault, although he was the “decider”.  bush was the worst president in the history of the united states.

JP - Thank you.  I just knew if I gave you enough rope…  Your blaming Ft Hood on President Bush tells everyone all they need to know about you.  I’ve tried to teach you but you are a lost cause and I just can’t back you anymore.  Bottom line:  so long my friend, I can’t fix stupid.

Sammy baby - Not the kind of guy to say “I told you so”, but, since the shoe fits…

Now for both of you, since you’re into this honesty thing, why did Barrack Hussein Obama and his minions lie about the number of jobs created by his $787 Billion boondoggle?  I mean, he said it created 600,000 new jobs.  His own news media, specifically NBC Nightly News, proved that number to be grossly exerggerated.  Will you hold your boy to the same standard of truth telling you held President Bush to?  Please, inquiring minds want to know.
