Great job, Tunstall girls

To the editor:

I am the proud parent of one of the young ladies who accomplished an extraordinary task this year. I would like to give the Tunstall varsity volleyball team the accolades it deserves. I think I speak for all the families when I say good job! THS is 21-0 this season — and still playing. We have a group of wonderful, hard working, dedicated ladies who have pulled out wins when no one thought they could, and I know Coach Hardy is proud to be at head of this school-record-setting team: Amanda Gibson, Megan Dillion, Morgan Distad and Kaitlyn Fulcher (the team’s seniors), Kyla Moorefield, Kelsey Smith, Alex Seamster, Catt Kefauver, Kendall Bowling, Taylor Dix, Kelsey VanAsch, Courtney Potter and Caitlin Davis.

Thank you, school administrator, especially Mrs. Harper and Mr. Newnam, who sits on edge with the rest of the parents, thank you to all the other fans and students who show up and lend your support — it matters to the girls.

We won our first district tournament game and we are guaranteed a spot at the regionals, so keep these ladies in your thoughts and prayers.
