Congrats, Danville

To the editor:

Once again, the fine people of Danville and Pittsylvania County have come forward to help another deserving person in their time of need.

The $5,000 that Joe Luebbert needed in the “Have a Heart” poker run and auction was raised due to the generosity of people and businesses in the Danville and Pittsylvania County area and the hard work of the Rivercity Cruisers. It doesn’t matter what the economy is, the fine people in this area will somehow dig deep to help someone. I would like to list everyone that helped, but the list is too numerous. God knows who you are and there will be a seat in heaven for people that help their fellow man.
