Rockingham County pet of the week

Goofy, a ten-month-old male boxer mix is available for adoption at the Rockingham County Animal Shelter located at 1401 W. Harrison St. in Reidsville. To contact the shelter, call (336) 342-4022. Shiloh K-9 Dog Training Services has offered two free training lessons with the adoption of the pet of the week and a 10% off training lessons for all other adopted animals.

Due to the county’s unusually high canine and feline euthanasia rate, we at the Reidsville Review felt obligated to do something about it. Working with the Rockingham County Animal Shelter, we hope to bring an increase the pet adoption rate throughout the county while illuminating the benefits of becoming a pet-owner.
