Virginia AgPAC endorses Marshall
DANVILLE — The Virginia AgPAC, a political action committee of the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation, announced it has endorsed Delegate Danny Marshall in the race for the 14th District seat in the Virginia House of Delegates.
With 147,000 members in 88 county Farm Bureaus, the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation is Virginia’s largest farmers’ advocacy group, according to a statement from Marshall’s campaign.
“Danny has demonstrated a clear understanding of the needs of agriculture and forestry and has a favor-able voting record in support of agriculture and Farm Bureau issues,” Wayne F. Pryor, chairman of Virginia AgPAC and VFBF president, said in a statement. “So we are pleased to endorse him as our candidate.”
In the General Assembly, Marshall is a member of the Agriculture, Chesapeake and Natural Resources committee.
“I know how vital agriculture is to our commonwealth and to Southside,” Marshall said in a statement. “Agriculture has long been the backbone of Southside’s economy. I am committed to supporting our farmers here in our area in their efforts to continue producing and providing for our families.”
