Woman found not guilty of all but one dog-related charge

DANVILLE — Pauline H. Bruce of Danville has been found not guilty of all but one dog-related charges filed against her in July — a single charge of allowing her dog to run at large, according to court documents.

Bruce was found not guilty of the following charges: Having a dangerous dog, owning a destructive dog, two additional charges of allowing a dog to run at large, one charge of destruction of property and one charge of inadequate care of an animal by the owner.

There is no need to have such laws if they are going to be ignored by the judges.  Take ‘em off the books, or use them.  One or the other, please.

They just had to print it because it was about an animal. That is just about all the news is about these days. Ever since the officer/dog thing.
