VDOT sets road work in Pittsylvania County

LYCNHBURG – Highway work is scheduled in several areas weather permitting in Pittsylvania County and traffic may be restricted.

The Worsham Street Bridge project will cause possible delays through Dec. 31 from the area of North Main Street to Bryant Avenue.

Delays are also possible during bridge maintenance at Route 882 over Sandy River, with completion ex-pected on Nov. 20.

Crews will make shoulder, ditch and surface repairs in Brosville, while crews will also clean and clear right of way, work shoulders, patch potholes and address customer concerns in Gretna.

In Rondo, crews will clean debris, make surface repairs and respond to customer concerns.
