Pregnant woman suspected in armed robbery

Danville police are looking for a pregnant woman suspected in a Thursday afternoon armed robbery on South Main Street.

Danville police responded to the 100 block of South Main Street, where a Pittsylvania County woman told officers a black, pregnant woman walked up to her, pulled a knife and demanded her pocketbook, according to a news release from the police department.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving the area, police said.

The incident happened at about 4:30 p.m. and the victim was not injured.

A description of this pregnant woman would be helpful!Did she leave walking,in a car,what? Why didn’t she go to social services for help instead of robbing an innocent person on the street?
Now we have to watch out not only for thuds but pregnant women too…OMG!!!
