Perriello votes against raising national debt ceiling

» 206 Comments | Post a Comment

Although the U.S. House of Representatives passed a measure Thursday to raise the national debt ceiling by $1.9 trillion, Rep. Tom Perriello, D-5th District, voted against the bill — and against his party.

The legislation passed by a vote of 217-212, with 37 Democrats — including Perriello — voting with all House Republicans against the bill.

“I broke with my party and voted against this bill because we simply cannot take on more debt without a plan to pay for it,” Perriello said in an e-mail. “For years, neither party has provided a plan for bringing this vicious cycle to an end, and that must stop.”

Oh Gordie my boy.  What are you made at me for?  You’re the one who caught lieing.

okay racist rockit, post the line you are so conceniently ignoring that you wrote which is racist.

You can back pedal all you want but you can not hide from your racist comment. Hypocrite. And you can put on a woman’s skirt and hide behind it but you are what you are when you write racist comments.

The next couple days I may not comment, because I will be out of town. NO you have not chased me off. I will be back just as hard, when I return.

Gordie, you’re running for cover here my boy.  You got caught with your hand in the cookie jar and now you are pretending, in spite of absolute evidence to the contrary (you know, that part before where I proved to 100% certainty that you lied), that your accusation of racism was in response to something OTHER THAN WHAT YOU SAID IT WAS in that earlier post.

But, just for the fun of it, let’s dissect your apparent misunderstanding of the English language, shall we.  Let’s discuss the highlighted portions here, one-by-one.

1.  Statistically, the overwhelming majority of African Americans will always vote for the Democrat candidate.  What about that statement are you suggesting is untrue?

2.  The Democrat Party always, without exception enjoys solid majority support from union members.  What about that implication is untrue?

3.  The Democrat Party always, without exception enjoys solid majority support from teachers.  What about that implication is untrue?

Since all three of those statements and assumptions are absolutely true (and nobody even questions whether or not they are indeed true), the statement about these people being so gulliable they will vote for a Democrat etc., etc., is itself a true statement.  Hey, don’t take my word for it.  Go ask the people identified in those statements.  Ask a group of 100 African Americans, 100 union members, 100 teachers, at random if they support Barrack Hussein Obama.  Chances are 90% of them will answer with a resounding YES WE CAN!

Those are the facts Gordie.  You can’t blame me for the facts anymore than you can blame the weatherman for the snow.

rockit since you are such a PRO lying distortionist I will post the entire article for you and highlight your racist comment. If you can read you will notice your racist comments were at 10:56 am. Not when you claim.

Gordie my boy, while you are trying to figure out how in the world to get out of that rhetorical trap I just put you in, I’m going to go ahead and respond to some of your other dribble.  And please keep in mind, I’m doing this because I genuinely feel sorry for you.  To carry around your brand of hatred must be an incredible burden.  Let’s see if we can’t lighten the load just a bit.

I’m not Republican.  I identify more along the Republican Party with respect to how to run a government, that’s true.  But that has more to do with the incompetence of your President and his political party than with anything else.  I was just as critical of the Bush Administration for it’s ridiculous and ill-advised spending habits such as the new drug benefit, no child left behind, and the bailout of AIG.  I also opposed the Iraqi War, but for different reasons than you.  So, for the record, I’m not wedded to any particular party loyalty.

I think right now, in light of the gargantuan mistakes that Barrack Hussein Obama has made, and the Democrat Party’s overwhelming support and endorsement of those mistakes, it only makes sense to look in a different direction for leadership.  When doing so, the Republican Party is a logical place to start.  But, that’s certainly not any indication of long-term loyalty to them either.  You see, unlike other folks, I don’t believe we should ever just fold our hands and say “I’m with the Democrats, no matter what” the way some groups of American voters do.  But, that’s just me.

For example, statistically the overwhelming majority of African Americans will always vote for the Democrat candidate.  That’s not racist, that’s fact.  The National Democrat Party knows this.  Did you ever wonder why the Democrat Party so often ignores the wishes of African Americans, union members, and teachers?  It’s because it already has their votes.  These people are so gullable, they will vote for a Democrat because they honestly believe that Democrat is going to give them every thing they want.  That’s what makes the election of Scott Brown so exciting.  Maybe, just maybe, at long last, some of these Democrat focus groups are beginning to wake up and see the destruction their party is doing to this country.  One can only hope.

So to answer your charge that I have complete faith in Republican idealism, not true.  Not true at all.  Are the Republicans offering better ideas today than the Democrats?  Well come on, is there really any doubt about that?  Look around you.

So Gordie old boy, your accusation that I believe that Government when properly run is the solution, is so far off base it hardly deserves comment.  You can’t point to a single thing I’ve ever said which would in even the remotest way suggest that I believe the government can run our lives better than we can.  I would tell you to put up or shut up, but then we know that when challenged to produce facts your normal response is to cower behind your keyboard and change the subject, so what’s the point.

Gordie - It’s official, you’re an idiot.  I don’t even know why I bother with you.  Oh wait, yes I do.  It’s the comic relief your postings provide me on a recurrent basis.

This is exactly what I wrote that you find so offensive:

“...Gordie is one of these idiots who argues for the sake of arguing and he will never “get it.“  Barrack Hussein Obama is his boy and anything that his boy is against (like the fair tax), Fordo is going to obediently fall in line and oppose as well.  These people are so beholden to the chosen one that they don’t have the common sense to think for themselves.  And when you completely destroy their position with facts, data, and logic, their only out is to play the race card…“

That’s it.  That’s the total quote to which you refer, not that one sentence.  Now.  Here’s the question.  What about that statement is untrue?  Are you denying that there are people who are so loyal to Barrack Hussein Obama that they will support and have supported him “blindly”, no matter what the issue?  If you don’t believe that’s been happening, then you haven’t been paying attention to what’s going on.  It’s the truth.  I know it.  You know it.  Difference between you and me is I said it.  And because you find that opposition to Barrack Hussein Obama ofeeeeeennnnnnsive, you accuse me of racism.  That’s really smart.  Can’t argue the merits of a particular position so it must be racism, right?

But, here comes the good part.  This is where I can prove that you not only are a racist but a liar as well.

The post to which you referred, the statements I wrote to which you say were racist in nature, were posted at 8:22 pm on Feb 14.

Yet, in your post on Feb 14 @ 5:21 pm, in response to me, you wrote “...The less racist on this thread, ...“

So Gordie, you just said that you called me a racist because of my comments at 8:22pm, but you called me a racist at 5:21 pm, before I ever made those comments.  Busted!!  How does it feel to be caught in a bald-faced lie?

Give it up Gordo ole boy.  You’re dealing with a pro here.  I can do this all day.

Unbelievable!  Disparaging the fair tax, something that could possibly not only fix the economy, but also lower the tax burden for all Americans (especially the ones that actually pay taxes), and at the same time championing the spend-a-holic tactics of the Obamanation and Tommy Boy.  You are definitely winning the debate with all of us racists and liars my common sense handicapped friend.

rockit this is what you wrote about blacks.

These people are so gullable, they will vote for a Democrat because they honestly believe that Democrat is going to give them every thing they want.

That is why I am calling you a racist. If you had said that using the words “poor white trash” or “hillbilly”’

I would have called you a racist. Your ignorance of the fact that your words make you superior of other humans makes you a racist. There is the problem that comes from the south. They only think of racist to blacks. Don’t you realize there is racist towards whites by whites. They are also called racist.

What else you do not understand is the fair tax. There is no such thing as theroy when it comes to math. Math is one of those truths in this universe. It cannot be changed by any words or language or theroy. It is absolute.

When 77 is multipled to reach 100 the only number that comes close is 30% It is not 23% or any other number.

When someone tries to tell me it is theroy I know that that is false or a better word is an out right lie.

Then there is the promotion of corporations will create more jobs, because they have more money.

That is bull as far as the eye can see. Corporations do not create jobs. People buying products create jobs. If a corporation has a product and the people will not buy it, that company will go out of business. That is plain and simple.

Now if knowing those facts and many others I will not write about is being stubborn, then I say there you are wrong also. The rest of you are the stubborn ones who are trying to pass of distortions and lies.

Here is another fact that has nothing to do with fair tax.

Over the past 30 years there was the theroy (semantics) that if most of the laws governing business were removed this country would prosper. YES, I understand where that theroy has gotten us.

You and the rest of the Obamacare people do not understand that. To you and many others who write here it is a theroy for politics and nothing more.

It is a distortion on a theroy that many others will believe the theroy.

Bortz and the other clown who wrote the book certainly have found a group of people who will believe anything. By the way those that wrote the book are not the authors of the theroy. Do you know that?

Oh Gordie.  Calm down.  Take your blood pressure medicine already will you.  You didn’t think you could get rid of me that easy did you?  You’re so easy, I could sell you dirt.  Just because you don’t understand the Fair Tax proposal, you shouldn’t feel so guilty.  Everybody’s not smart enough to participate in this conversation.  It is disappointing that someone like you would stoop to the level of racism; but, that’s okay.  We’ll get by somehow.  Just keep the jokes coming and keep us entertained for a little while longer.

Rockit I said you were a liar and you just proved it. You said you were out of here, but here you are back again.

This is like a sore thumb. Just can’t get over hitting it or remarking. It is a sickness, which I enjoy doing to upset the weakminded. Like those who immediately point out typo’s, cause they have nothing important to write.
