The film and video department of Piedmont Community College, located in Person and Caswell counties, held the second of two summer intensive High-Definition video production camps this week in Yanceyville, N.C.

The four-day camp, geared toward high school and adult students, teaches young film enthusiasts the ropes of production. According to the

PCC Film and Video Web site, www. pccfilm.com, students engage in hands-on activities — including operating camera, sound and lighting equipment; acting; and editing — to create a five- to 10-minute final video project.

PCC held its first camp session June 15-18.

The cost of tuition for each session is $55.

Behind the scenes:
Students in PCC’s High-Definition summer intensive camps have access to the school’s full complement of film equipment, including a 35-foot, five-ton truck; movie lighting instruments of up to 12,000 watts; digital video and high-definition cameras; and camera dollies.

That looks to be an honest common mishap, because Piedmont is spelled correctly in the rest of the article.
It makes me wonder about the future of the county and state, when all people seem to relish in these days is being miserable, and spreading it around.
It really is a beautiful day out, and I thank Him for it.

Your title turns me off since you didn’t check to see if PIEDMONT was spelled correctly. And we wonder about the educational system!!!!!!!
