More retailers move into Coleman MarketPlace

DANVILLE — A home décor retailer and New Earth Skateboard signed leases to join Coleman MarketPlace, according to a leasing company news release.

New Earth Skateboard will occupy almost 1,600 square feet near Target this month, The Shopping Center Group said via news release.

The group is a real estate advisory company that assumed leasing responsibilities in January. Since then, 50 percent of the available space has been leased, the release stated. North American Properties developed and manages Coleman MarketPlace.

A yet unnamed home décor retailer will occupy almost 3,500 square feet across from Home Depot. That store plans to open in early December.

We do need a big bookstore.  B Dalton is too small and soon it will be gone altogether.  And I agree about bringing ULTA here as well as relocating that tacky dollar store.

That is very good about the new stores comeing to the ColemanShopping Center..I do wish that a Big Book Store and a Ulta store would come to..I will agree about the Dollar Store this shopping center should be for higher quality stores..But since they are getting all the new store’s..They need to think about doing something about all the car’s that drive way to fast thru there from PineyForest takeing the short cut..I have almost gotten hit there trying to get out..It would be nice to see speed bumps put all down thru there.. Are the City Police sitting there with there radar’s out watching for speeder’s..Because it will only get worse with the Holiday’s comeing..

what “knock off” are you referring to? I didn’t see the name of the store in the story, so I don’t know who you are referring to.

I see.  Where, pray tell, does such a store “belong”?

I can’t believe we have such a nice place to go shop and they have moved in a knock off of “Dollar Tree” that is nothing but a bunch of junk.  This store does not belong in this strip mall.
