DANVILLE — Shortly before 11 a.m. on Saturday, a 51-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint on Piney Forest Road.
Danville police officers res-ponded to a call about shots fired in the 1300 block of Piney Forest Road, and found the victim at the location. The man told officers he had been robbed of his wallet and cell phone.
The victim said a man approached, pointed a gun at him and demanded he “give it up.” At some time in the robbery, the suspect shot the driver’s side window out of the victim’s vehicle, but the victim was not in the vehicle at the time.
The suspect is described as a black man with braids, approximately 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds, and wearing a yellow and black shirt. The suspect reportedly brandished a black handgun with an extended magazine.
The suspect left the scene in a silver van, heading south on Piney Forest Road.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Danville Crime Stoppers at (434) 793-0000. Callers may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.

Some of us called you on it. Realizing how stupid you sounded originally, now you want to blow it off as just sarcasm. So, not only are you racist in your views, you’re a coward at heart. Maybe after you change your Depends, you should change your call sign from TrughBeTold to the much more appropriate TheTruthHurts!
BTW, if you can’t take criticism because of the stupidity of your original post, perhaps you shouldn’t have posted such a racist statement in the first place. At the very least, don’t get made when folks point out your childishness.
And, the killer is, through all your ridiculous diatribe, you still haven’t explained exactly how you feel that “...Maybe one day, the white man will learn”. Are you afraid somebody may call you on it? (LOL)

I regret to inform you that you have a fool for a son/daughter. It is very obvious that he/she has never been exposed to and/or learned how to recognize sarcasm.
However you can be proud of him/her for developing such anger issues albeit misguided. You may want to recommend counseling, oh that’s right, they don’t have that in Danville.
Ok, I am going to make it easy for you! Have him/her get a dictionary and look up S*A*R*C*A*S*M. Then send him/her back to the third grade to graduate.
I am very sorry Mr & Mrs Rockit to give you this news but I would hate to see your child make a fool of themself again.

Truth Be Told - Just last week there was some white guy, 60ish something, who was caught after he alledgedly robbed the Valero FAS Mart on Piney Forest Road. R&B had his mugshot in the paper and everything. Where were you? Oh, don’t tell me, you were wallowing in the bowels of your own created despair crying about how whitey has held you down; yet, you’ve done nothing to pick yourself up, dust yourself off from the cesspool of your own miserable life because for you and your kind—-your problems are always somebody else’s fault so why take charge of your own pathetic self when it’s so easy to blame “the man”?
So, how’d I do? Pretty close uh? The sad thing is you’ll never get it. You’ll never be anything of value because of the size of that chip on your shoulder and the millions of wasted brain cells in your head. You’ll never understand that the law is color blind and that door swings both ways. If it just so happens that the majority of people conducting strong-armed robberies happen to be black, who’s fault is that? I mean, what are you mad about: that more white people aren’t out there robbing people? What kind of sense does that make?
So my friend, continue you tirade against the injustices of society. Continue to think the white man is out to get you. I mean, it’s worked so well for you thus far, right? Just a word of advice—- change your Depends at least every eight hours and use plenty of J&J powder to kill that rash.

The police have a policy that they no longer identify the “exact place” of an incident. Merchants are upset when their place is identified and individuals are afraid someone will come back.
