Shortly after the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s office sent out a news release saying a man wanted in Hanover County had been seen in Blairs and Danville, Danville Police officers picked him up.

Jason Lee Wright was being sought on several outstanding felony warrants for breaking and entering, and grand larceny, in Hanover County.

A news release from Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office crime analyst David Morgan on Thursday morning said Wright had been seen in the Spring Garden Road area in Blairs and in Danville.

At 6:15 p.m., Capt. T. Jones, at the Danville Police Department, said, “We’ve got him.”

Jones and Wright was being processed through the Danville City Jail, and would be held pending his return to Hanover County.
