HURT — A Forest man died from a car wreck Friday that partially ejected him from his car, said Sgt. C.W. Owen of the Virginia State Police.

Tracy John Walshaw, 41, was driving a 1998 Ford Econoline van on Route 640 at about 1:20 a.m. when he ran off the left side of the road. Walshaw overcorrected, crossed the road and ran off the right side, Owen said. He overcorrected again, crossed the road and ran off the left side. The van hit an embankment and flipped. Walsh was partially ejected from the car, which landed on him.

He was not wearing his seatbelt and pronounced dead at the scene.
