Danville officials invited to hospital meeting

DANVILLE — Danville Regional Medical Center invited Danville City Council members to a meeting at the hospital Nov. 12.

The meeting will be open to the public, but an exact time hasn’t been scheduled, director of public relations Leslie Smith said via e-mail.

Mayor Sherman Saunders had invited CEO Jerel Humphrey and hospital leaders to come to a city council meeting after receiving questions from the public. Saunders had forwarded 10 pages of questions to the hospital’s management.
