Danville man shot in leg

A Danville man is recovering from a gunshot wound to his leg.

At 1 a.m. Wednesday, police officers responded to 130 Rocklawn Ave. after someone shot into the house multiple times, according to a news release from the Danville Police Department.

A 36-year-old man had been shot in the leg and was transported to Danville Regional Medical Center with non-life- threatening injuries, the release states.

Police are still investigating the shooting, but said the motive is unknown.
