Danville inventor receives second U.S. patent

DANVILLE — Kevin Keys, president and owner of Maddyzack Inc. Marketing Services, recently received his second U.S. patent for a laser printable patient identification band with over-laminate for image protection and color-coding option.

He first received a patent in 2001 for his invention of a foldable information card with pocket for storage

Keys is a 1990 graduate of George Washington High School and a 1994 graduate of Radford University.

He currently lives in Danville with his wife Angel and two children, Zachary and Emma Grace.

That sounds like a great tool (the patient wrist band). It could conceivable prevent medicaiton errors adn patient mix-ups.
