BLAIRS — A singlewide mobile home on Lawless Creek Road was consumed by flames Thursday night.

Capt. Glen Ellis, of Blairs Fire & Rescue, said firefighters responded to the blaze shortly before 8:30 p.m. and the home at 396 Lawless Creek Road was fully involved when they arrived.

Blairs Fire & Rescue was assisted by firefighters and equipment from Mount Hermon, Chatham and Kentuck fire departments.

The blaze was quickly contained and firefighters were pulling the siding off the trailer to reach hot spots shortly after 9 p.m.

Ellis said a cause had not been determined, but that the home is “pretty much a total loss.”

The residents were not home when the fire started, he said, and no one was injured.
