AVID LLC to open in Halifax

AVID LLC announced open a regional office in the Riverstone Technology Building in Riverstone Technology Park in Halifax County. 
The company provides leading research and development in the aircraft design industry.
AVID provides design and software support for U.S. Government agencies and aerospace companies - both military and commercial sectors.  The company’s headquarters are in Yorktown, and their research center is in Blacksburg.  Sam B. Wilson III, president and CVO of the company is a Halifax County native. He will be located in the Riverstone office.
