Another drowning reported at Smith Mountain

The Department of Game and Inland Fisheries has confirmed a 37-year-old man from Franklin County drowned in Smith Mountain Lake around 2 a.m. Monday. Authorities say he was on a boat with two other people when the boat overturned. The two passengers made it to shore, but he did not. His body was recovered, but his name is not yet being released.
