Suspect arrested in Saturday stabbing
Danville police officers arrested a 36-year-old man after a Danville woman was stabbed in the throat and chest Saturday night, according to a news release from the Danville Police Department.
Police arrested Dexter Elliot Logan, 36, on the felony charge of malicious wounding. A Danville woman, who suffered from knife wounds to the throat and chest, reported that she was stabbed “by a male acquaintance” on the 200 block of Epps Street. around 10:15 p.m. Saturday, according to the release.
Officers located Logan on Grace Street and arrested him without incident. The victim was transported to Danville Regional Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
