Danville woman shot multiple times, Police say husband is in custody

Danville Police were called to the 500 block of Bradley Road just before 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers say a woman had been shot several times. She was taken to Danville Regional Medical Center with life threatening injuries. She told police her husband shot her.

Around 1:15 a.m. Wednesday, the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office told Danville Police they had tracked down the suspect on Highway 86, just south of Yanceyville, North Carolina.

Homer Wilkerson is being held in Caswell County without bond, until he can be brought back to Virginia.

Wilkerson is facing charges of aggravated malicious wounding and using a gun during while committing a felony.

Danville Police are still investigating.

Hey Registerbee How about a PICTURE!!!!  Also very pc as usual not giving “ALL” information that was given by the DPD, almost number 9 for the year.
