Bill Clinton in Roanoke, says America needs job strategy
» 6 Comments | Post a Comment

Former President Bill Clinton told a crowd in Downtown Roanoke that fellow Democrat Terry McAuliffe was “made for this time” to become Virginia’s next governor.

Clinton told the crowd about McAuliffe’s family values, as well as the lengths McAuliffe went to to bring people together and work on problems when he was chairman of the Democratic National Committee.

Clinton said America must have a jobs strategy, and the lack of one helped send money from Main Street to Wall Street.  Clinton promoted green energy as the job strategy that the country needs.

Clinton also praised President Barack Obama’s leadership so far in his first term.

There is a forum tonite with all 3 (DEM) candidates at the institute tonite details added below. I think perhaps there maybe a better person out there than McAuliffe. Can’t wait to hear what they are promising. Primary election will be June 9th.

“This Issues Forum will be free and open to the public. It will be co-sponsored by the Danville Register & Bee, and is the next event in the Sorensen Institute’s Southside Public Leadership Speakers Series.

Creigh Deeds, Brian Moran, and Terry McAuliffe.

Slick Willie, I can’t forget when you were were running for re-election in 1996 that you had the Chinese to spend the night in the White House, and according to The Drudge Report, you allegedly gave them top military secrets in exchange for campaign money.

I admit I haven’t given a whole lot of thought to the governor’s race—seems like we just finished the last election.  However, I certainly hope the Democratic Party can offer someone better than Mr. McAuliffe.  I don’t doubt his knowledge of national politics but his reputation is that of a political gun-for-hire, not an intellectually balanced leader.  Personally, I wouldn’t mind reelecting Tim Kaine if that were possible.  Since it’s not, let’s hope we get some quality candidates from both major parties.

American politicians have a job strategy.  They send all jobs overseas.  Then they tell us to train for new jobs which then gets sent overseas.  Nuclear technology, electrical technology everything has been stolen/given away to foreign lands.  Think how many things Americans have invented, only to have their ideas robbed from them.  If the politicians really gave a damn about the citizens of this country, they would do something.  Their inactions and silence speak volumes.  It is time for people to listen, observe, and vote accordingly.

If McAuliffe had values, family or otherwise, he would not have had Bill-Blue-Dress-Clinton campaigning for him. The McAuliffe campaign is now officially infected by scum and I can’t wait for Paul Begala, Lanny Davis, and especially James Carville to start making the rounds. And if we’re real lucky…Madelaine Albright.

Bill Clinton, why don’t you go away and stop annoying people?

Never forget that Bill Clinton’s name is signed to most of the “free-trade” agreements which started the slide into the recession we are currently experiencing. Free-trade was a huge gift for the wealthy corporations and for the Chinese and knife in the back of working-class Americans.

Bill Clinton at long last, have you no sense of decency? No, of course you don’t. What am I thinking?
