Joel Love fired a 6-under-par 66 to rally from three strokes back and win the championship flight of the rain-delayed Tuscarora Country Club Invitational with a two-day score of 136 — three strokes better than second-place finisher Tony Byerly.

Chatham High baseball coach Chad Anderson, trailed by a single stroke Saturday, carded a 72 on Sunday to place third overall with a two-day score of 140. Jeff Boyan finished fourth with a 141.

Defending champion Bruce Woodall, who shot a 68 on the first day, finished in a four-way tie for fifth at 142 with David Summers, Ridge Gibson and Scott Blackwell — who held the lead at the start of the day after shooting a 67 in the first round.

Vance Kiser and Dave Davis shot 147s and were crowned co-winners of the lower flight.

Sam Mantiply took the first flight with a 147, Jonathan Blackard won the second flight with a 150 and David Hess took the third flight with a 155. Dick Douthat’s 149 won him the senior division.
