GW’s Tarpley earns MVP honors at prep football all-star game

HAMPTON — George Washington High School standout Travis Tarpley was named the West’s offensive most valuable player in the West’s 7-0 victory in the Virginia High School Coaches Association all-star game on Friday.
Tarpley received the MVP award, which is named after former GW coach Alger Pugh.
