Eden police warn residents to be on the lookout for a scam artist.

On Sunday, June Gentry reported to police that Randy Jatman came to her residence and offered to clean the siding and roof. Jatman reportedly told Gentry he would need some money up front to get materials. The victim gave Jatman $125 and he told her he would return on June 2 to do the work. As of Monday, Jatman had not completed the work.

On Feb. 6, Jatman was charged with obtaining property by false pretense that involved the same scam reported on Sunday.
