Deputies with the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office are searching for two suspects in connection with a stabbing Tuesday night in the 5400 block of Dry Fork Road.

Lt. J.T. Barrett, of the Crime Scene Unit, said a man was stabbed at about 6 p.m. and had been transported to Danville Regional Medical Center.

Two Hispanic males were seen running into the woods following the incident, Barrett said, adding deputes are searching for the suspects.

“There are units canvassing the area and K9 units in the woods,” he said.

Barrett said information about the victim’s injuries and details of the crime would not be re-leased until the investigation is completed.
