Goode, McDonnell to speak at GOP rally

U.S. Rep. Virgil Goode and Attorney General Bob McDonnell will be the featured speakers Saturday at a Republican get-out-the-vote rally.

The event will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at Blairs Fire & Rescue on U.S. 29, according to a news release. The event also features a free community cookout.

Other speakers include former state Sen. Charles Hawkins, Sen. Robert Hurt, Delegate Danny Marshall and Delegate Donald Merricks.
